Fixed Knot Types

Barbed Wire
The traditional barbed-wire configuration twists two wire strands together with sharp 2-point or 4-point barbs spaced at regular intervals. This design relies on painful contact to effectively deter animals.

Monarch Knot
This knot type wraps vertical stay wires around horizontal line wires at every intersection point. The resulting connection delivers basic security while maintaining flexibility. It functions as a hinge that withstands pressure and reliably returns to its original shape, making it particularly suitable for uneven terrain.

Square Deal Knot
