Edge Protection Barrier With Compression Post

Category: Product ID: 25695

Description

Compression Post Edge Protection Barrier System

The compression post serves as a collective fall protection device. Workers use it to secure edges between concrete slabs. It also protects other construction site situations. This system works with edge protection barriers often. Together they provide full coverage protection. The mesh barrier features an integrated toeboard. This prevents debris from entering work areas. It also stops materials from leaving the floor.

Key Features

This system requires no anchoring or bolting. It relies solely on friction or compression fixings. These occur between the floor and the soffit.

Installation proceeds quickly and saves labor. Workers extend the inner pipe to the ceiling easily. A foot pedal activates the compression function simply.

Components of Compression Post Edge Protection Barrier

Compression Post Unit Compression Post Barrier Clip 2.6m Compression Post Edge Protection Barrier 2.9m Compression Post Edge Protection Barrier
Compression Post Unit
This unit provides slab to soffit compression effectively. It accommodates heights from 2.4m (8′) to 3.5 m (11’6″). Hot dipped galvanizing protects against corrosion.
Compression Post Barrier Clip
This slider hook offers strong but lightweight attachment. Workers can adjust it to any position on the post.
2.6m Safedge Mesh Barrier
This barrier measures 1.2m high and 2.6m long. Galvanized mesh and frame ensure durability. Powder coating provides additional protection.
2.9m Safedge Mesh Barrier
This version stands 1.1m high and 2.9m long. It uses 4mm wire thickness for strength. More lengths are available through customization.

Compression Post Edge Protection Barrier

The compression post offers smart height adjustment solutions. It combines effectively with barrier systems. This provides similar protection to anchored methods. However, it employs a different fixing principle. Installation occurs much faster typically. The system mainly serves concrete frame applications. Some steel frames can also use it.

APAC designs compression posts for quick height adjustment. They adjust from 2.4m (8ft) to 3.5m (11.5 ft) maximum. An integrated pressing device simplifies compression adjustment. A level indicator aids precise vertical rigging during installation.

All APAC compression posts conform to multiple standards. They meet EN 13374 requirements completely. COHS regulations guide their design. OSHA standards ensure workplace safety. ANSI specifications provide additional compliance.

Advantages of ABX System

No tools are required for installation. This makes the process significantly faster.

You can choose double-height or full height panels. Powder-coated steel ensures long-term use.

The system maintains product compatibility with other brands. It offers recycling benefits over traditional guardrails. This provides additional cost savings significantly.

Dense meshes (50x50mm/150x75mm) ensure high stability. Customized dense meshes are also available. Personalized logos can represent your company.

Comprehensive Installation Support

APAC understands the importance of clear instructions. We provide various resources to facilitate installation. These include detailed installation videos. PDF documents offer written guidance. Online instructions come from our engineers directly.

Four Installation Steps

Step 1: Slide the adjustment handle upward first. Stop when the ring reaches the desired location. Extend the inner tube until the anchor plate contacts the soffit firmly.

Step 2: Slide the handle downward carefully. Continue until the grab plate locks to the inner tube securely.

Step 3: Slide the handle to the lock position. Insert the pin to lock it completely.

Step 4: Rotate the compression post counterclockwise. Continue until it locks tightly in place.
